Biographical sketch
Guiping Zhou obtained her PhD degree in astrophysics in 2006 at Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She visited NAOJ and JASA in 2007, and George Mason University in 2015 as a visiting scholar. Now she is a professor of NAOC, and serves as the group leader of the Solar Magnetic Activity Research Group.
Research Interests
Her main scientific interests are source regions, initiations, and propagations of coronal mass ejections, solar small-scale magnetic activities, and solar-like stellar activities.
