Biographical sketch
Xuefei Chen obtained her Ph.D. in astrophysics from Yunnan Observatories in 2005. Since then, she has been working at Yunnan Observatories. She is now a professor working on stellar physics. She is also a member of the Organizing Committee of IAU Commission G3 (stellar evolution).
Research Interests
Her research interests include binary evolution, binary population synthesis, and the formation of some peculiar stars. She is also interested in microphysics in stars.
