Bo Wang received his Ph.D. degree in astrophysics in 2010 from the Yunnan Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since May 2015, He has been a professor at the Yunnan Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include binary evolution and binary population synthesis, particularly on the progenitors of type Ia supernovae.
