1981PhD Theoretical Physics (Université Paris VI-Pierre et Marie Curie)
1975-1999Searcher at Ecole polytechnique
1991-1999Professor at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (lasers physics)
1999Searcher at Département d'Astrophysique Relativiste (Observatoire de Paris-Meudon)
since 2000Searcher at Observatoire de la Côte dAzur (Nice)
since 2000I give a master course on experimental gravitation at Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis
I am a member of the LISA international Science Team

Research Domain:

I'm involved in the Virgo project (large Italy/France interferometer for gravitational wave detection) since the beginning (1984). I carried out several tasks in instrument modelling. I'm also involved in the LISA project (Europe ESA+ U.S. NASA) , a space mission for gravitational wave observation in the low frequency range.

A typical paper:

Living Reviews in Relativity 12 (2009) 5 (Max Planck Inst. For Gravitational Physics, Potsdam, Germany)
